South Peak 1D

Lovely three bedroom, two bath, first floor condominium with central air conditioning located at South Peak Resort close to downtown Lincoln and not far from the South Peak ski slopes at Loon Mountain. South Peak 1D offers an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area. In the living room area enjoy the ease of a gas fireplace and the clarity of a large flat-screen TV with DVD. The primary bedroom suite has a king size bed, flat screen TV and a spacious private bath with separate tub and shower. The second and third bedrooms each also have flat-screen TVs and share a bathroom located in the hall across from the bedrooms. One of these bedrooms has two twin beds and the other, two sets of bunk beds.

Locally you will find plenty of seasonal and year-round activities to fill your time including shopping, golfing, mini-golfing, amusement parks (including a local waterpark), gondola / tram rides, natural attractions, alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, river swimming, kayaking, bird watching and much more.

Access to the South Peak Community Outdoor Hot Tub and Fire Pit. Please note grilling is not allowed on South Peak Resort Decks or Patios. Grilling is allowed only on the community gas grill located near the South Peak outdoor hot tub. No personal grills are allowed.

This home has winter ski shuttle access for specific dates as described at https://southpeakresort.com/shuttle-service/
This condo does not offer membership to a pool or fitness center. Pool and fitness club membership of 1+ months can be purchased for a separate drop-in fee at the Mountain Club on Loon or the Nordic Inn Club.
This unit does not allow pets.

  Whilst the general location of this property is fantastic, we were disappointed with this unit during this year's stay. The general cleanliness of this unit was lacking. As an example, there were long hairs on the shower wall of the second bathroom and a 'ring' of dirt in the toilet in the master bedroom. Also, there were very few towels provided which resulted in us having to wash towels each day. Lastly, the gas fireplace did not work. We likely will not rent this unit in the future.

  WE have rented unit A for years. This condo did not compare. The bed was completely collapsed in the middle, no shampoo, the dishwasher randomly turned itself on. Inadequate towels. old furniture. Just not what we've come to expect from these condos

  The property itself was excellent. However it really did not meet our requirements for a 3 bedroom,2 bath property. The master suite was monstrous and had a separate bath and shower en suite. The other 2 bedrooms (one a 4 person bunkroom and a twin bed room)shared a single hall room...we were 3 couples in
  a bathroom that was for 6 people. Forget the TV in the twin/bunk bedrooms if you are older couples. You'd
  need the living room to see properly. If you are a couple with kids, it's awesome!

The property description clearly states the number of bedrooms and the configurations of the beds in each. It also describes the number and locations of both bathrooms..."the primary bedroom suite has a...spacious private bath with separate tub and shower" and "the second and third bedrooms...share a bathroom located in the hall across from the bedrooms."   Beautiful condo in the heart of the White Mountains. Condo was appropriately furnished. The only thing I'd point out is that the toilet in the master bathroom was broken. The seal/O-Ring at the bottom of the tank was loose and each time we had to flush the toilet, I had to go inside the tank and reposition that seal. Not a big deal, I just wanted to make you aware of that.

  We loved South Peak 1D so much last year that we booked the same location again this year. Condo was clean, neat and had plenty of kitchen supplies,bedding and a closet full of games. Only problem was the people that were above our rental,very thin and poorly insulated ceilings, the noise of constant running and jumping started at 7 am and continued until 9 pm. We would not rent here again only because of the noise. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Beautiful walking area, enjoyed Black Mountain Burger (they are the best) and Gordi's Fish & Steak House.

There is also a variety of sizes of cooking pots and pans, along with many cooking dishes, utensils and serving pieces and small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster).

  Home was awesome kids loved it. We all loved it. Immaculate Have stayed at Breton woods past 15 years decided to try something new. Best decision. Area is perfect for hiking swimming restaurants etc. and far more economical Kids loved swimming in the river, just a short walk from the home Home is perfect. Pictures do not do it justice.   This unit is a lot nicer than in the pictures. it fresh and clean, feels new. We had a large black bear visiting one evening in the back yard, but just passed by right away and never came back. We were there with 4 children and 2 adults, everybody enjoyed the indoors and the outdoors.

  The South Peak condo units are fantastic. The Loon Reservation team is great as well. The units are very well constructed, modern, private and well-appointed. The only minor negative is the expectations on parking where the rules state you must park one vehicle in the garage and one directly behind if you have 2 vehicles and the garages are so narrow an SUV will not fit through the door. This was not an issue for us as we rented off-peak season nor would it be an issue if only a single car is needed. We have stayed in these units several times and have always had a great experience.
